CANCER CENTER NURSES RECEIVE CERTIFICATION

(CAMPBELLSVILLE, KENTUCKY)--- Seven nurses at The Cancer Center at Taylor Regional Hospital have passed the two day intensive course given by the Oncology Nursing Society in order to become OCN certified.  They are:  Marian Caldwell, RN; Sandy Simpson, RN; Lyndi Tarter, RN; Sherri Angel, RN; Mary Tena Smith, RN; Jennifer Ferguson, RN and Brenda Goode, RN.  The Cancer Center recently received a plaque from The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation recognizing that the majority (more than 50%) of the nursing staff are Oncology Certified.

In addition, the following nurses are credentialed as Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Providers:  Marian Caldwell, RN; Sandy Simpson, RN; Lyndi Tarter, RN; Sherri Angel, RN; Mary Tena Smith, RN; Jennifer Ferguson, RN; Angela McCoy, RN; Debbie Spalding, RN; Melony Renfrow, RN and Brenda Goode, RN.
