TAYLOR REGIONAL HOSPITAL AUXILIARY DONATES MONEY TO HOSPITAL FOR PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT

(CAMPBELLSVILLE, KENTUCKY)--- Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary members have made a monetary donation of over $10,000 for the purchase of new equipment to be used in 13 different departments throughout the facility.

“The Wish List is an important opportunity for us,” says Earl Mariz, President of the Auxiliary.  “We are proud to have the chance to help as many hospital departments as possible in fulfilling their mission of quality health care.  Our priority is on patient care items and how we can make the most impact on the health care of the residents of our regional area.”

The TRH Auxiliary make this donation every year based on a “wish list” which is submitted from team members.  The wish list requests are submitted for approval at the end of the year and are voted on by the Auxiliary.  The money that is used for the donation comes from money that is raised by the Auxiliary throughout the year by means of dues, bake sales and gift shop sales.  The Gift Shop is completely staffed by volunteers and all sales directly benefit the hospital by way of the wish list.

“There is no way that we could completely thank the members of our Auxiliary for all that they do for us,” says Jane Wheatley, CEO of Taylor Regional Hospital.  “In addition to their many hours of selfless dedication to making our hospital a better place, they always find a way to help us with the purchase of needed equipment.  They are truly dedicated to helping others.”
