Taylor Regional Hospital will hold its 2nd annual charity golf scramble on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Campbellsville Country Club golf course, with a shot gun start at 1:00 pm.  The proceeds from this event will again benefit the TRH van service.  This FREE transportation service assists patients receiving services at the main hospital, cancer center or rehab services who otherwise would not be able to provide their own transportation.  We serve patients from Taylor, Green, Marion and Adair counties.

“Last year’s golf scramble was a great success and we are pleased to say this will be an annual event,” says Jane Wheatley, CEO.  “There are so many patients that we serve who benefit from this transportation service and the need continues to grow.  That’s why we decided that all money raised from the event will again benefit the van service.  It is our hope that we will be able to use the money to purchase a new van.” 

The cost will be $300 per team or $75 per player.  This price includes 18 holes of golf, cart and lunch.  There will also be awards for longest drive, closest to the pin challenges and the winning team.  Pre-registration is required by September 10, 2010.
